Personal Story: Rafael & Ruth Roite
In the wake of the coronavirus crisis, over 100 Bnei Menashe and Chinese Jewish immigrants to Israel have lost their jobs, and many more stand to lose theirs.
Rafael and Ruth Roite, both in their early 30s, made aliyah to Israel in 2016 from Mizoram in northeast India and have been living in Nof Hagalil. They came with one baby and have since been blessed with another child. Now Rafael has lost his job due to the coronavirus situation and his wife has no regular job making it extremely difficult to make ends meet.
In this challenging time, let’s help Rafael and Ruth Roite and others like them. Please join us in supporting this special community that sacrificed so much to make their lives in Israel. No donation is too big or too small. https://shavei.org/donations/corona/. Thank you!
