Bnei Menashe settle in at Kfar Hassdim center

The latest aliyah wave of 102 Bnei Menashe new immigrants from the Indian state of Mizoram is now settling in to their new (temporary) homes at Shavei Israel’s Kfar Hasidim absorption center. The Bnei Menashe will stay in Kfar Hasidim for the next three months while they learn Hebrew, Judaism, and the basics of life in the modern Jewish state. They will then move to Upper Nazareth in the Lower Galilee.

We have some pictures from the first weeks in these immigrants’ lives.
