JCC Krakow is excited to announce the Third Annual CHANUKrAkow – a special Hanukah celebration open to the public! Join us and meet two of Krakow’s rabbis, see a holiday film, and listen to Hanukah songs. We are hosting workshops where you can learn how to make your own candles and prepare kosher Hanukah doughnuts and latkes! There will also be special programs for children.

5:30 – 5:45pm – Lighting the 5th Hanukah candle with Rabbi Avi Baumol
5:45 – 6:00pm – ChanuConcert – JCC Krakow Choir Hanukah Concert, conducted by Walentyn Dubrowski
5:45 – 7:30pm – ChanuKids – Hanukah workshop for children and youth. Led by Magdalena Pulikowska and Mateusz Lagosz
6:00 – 7:00pm – ChanuCinema – Hanukah film screening and discussion with Rabbi Eliezer Gurary and director Paulina Fiejdasz
6:00 – 7:30pm – Candle making workshops, groups led by: Max Zubek

7:00 – 7:30pm – The Spirit of Man is the Lamp of the Lord: Why we light Hanukah candles. Lecture by Rabbi Avi Baumol.
7:00 – 8:30 ChanuCooking – 3 quick cooking workshops: doughnuts and latkes. Group led by: Hadley Baumol and Kasia Leonardi
